These Honey Goat Cheese Puff Pastry Bites are the perfect finger food appetizer for your next holiday party!

At the beginning of the year, I decided I wanted to create a couple of new party recipes for Christmas, like these Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Bites.
Little did we know that the holidays would look different this year.
But since I had already created and photographed this Honey Goat Cheese Puff Pastry Bites recipe, I decided to go ahead and share it.
Because 2020 is almost over and there are many more Christmases to come in which you can enjoy this recipe

Plus goat cheese and honey are one of my favorite cheese combinations.
So I definitely wanted to make sure that I shared this simple 5 ingredient recipe with you this season.

From the flaky puff pastry to the crunchy pistachio, the tart pomegranate seeds, to the sweet honey, each bite is full of flavor!

Honey Goat Cheese Puff Pastry Bites
These Honey Goat Cheese Puff Pastry Bites are the perfect finger food appetizer for your next holiday party!
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: 48–55 bites 1x
Ingredients
- 1 Package Puff Pastry, defrosted
- Goat Cheese, 8 ounces
- 1/4 Cup Pistachios, chopped
- 1/4 Cup Pomegranate Seeds
- 1/2 Cup Honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and spray your mini muffin pans with oil.
- Roll out both puff pastry dough sheets. Then use a 2-inch circular biscuit cutter to create round dough bites.*(1)
- Place one puff pastry dough in each mini muffin cup.
- Fill the center of each puff pastry dough circle with approximately 1 teaspoon of goat cheese. *(2)
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the puff pastry is flaky and golden brown.
- Let cool and top each puff pastry bite with a sprinkle of chopped pistachios, 2-3 pomegranate seeds, and a drizzle of honey (about 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon).
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Be sure to make your cookie cutter cuts close together so that you use up the majority of the puff pastry dough.
- 8 ounces of goat cheese is 1 cup which is equivalent to 48 teaspoons.
