2-ingredient homemade strawberry fruit leathers that are super easy to make and that kids love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 & 1/2 Cups Strawberries, sliced
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey, optional

Instructions

  1. First, blend the strawberries and the honey.
  2. Once completely blended without chunks pour the pureed strawberries on a pan lined with a silicone baking mat and spread evenly with a spatula.*(1)
  3. Place in your oven at 175ºF (or the lowest temperature possible) for 6-8 hours, or until the leather is no longer sticky.
  4. Transfer the strawberry leather from the silicone mat and place it on parchment paper.
  5. Use kitchen scissors to cut the fruit leather and parchment paper into long strips.
  6. Roll each strip of fruit leather and parchment paper up and tie it with a piece of baking twine.
  7. Enjoy! *(2)

Notes

  1. Try to keep the pureed strawberries away from the edges of the pan so that it will be easier to pull off once baked.
  2. Keep stored in a slightly opened container for up to a week. (An airtight container can cause it to become too moist and stick together.)
