Decorating a space can sometimes be a challenge, especially if you aren’t sure how or if a piece of furniture will fit.

When we were decorating baby Roger’s nursery, the only piece of furniture we had was a crib that was gifted to us by my parents.

We hoped to add a glider, rug, floor lamp, dresser, and mirror to the room.

But figuring out how to make everything fit was a bit of a challenge, especially when there are so many options online to choose from.

Constantly measuring and remeasuring furniture in this space was a bit exhausting, especially late in my second trimester.

So I grabbed some painter’s tape and marked out my favorite pieces to see if they would all fit in this little nursery.

This was the perfect solution!

Because when I started questioning things in the middle of the night I could easily go to his room and see for myself that the furniture was going to work thanks to the painter’s tape furniture measuring hack!

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
Isaiah 53:3-4 NIV
