Although it has been a couple of months since I made this Creamy Gnocchi with Spinach and Peas, the pictures alone are enough to make me crave this pasta recipe again.
This creamy gnocchi dish made such a delicious memory I can almost taste it just by looking at the photos.
I sent the pictures to Roger and he immediately said that he wanted to eat it right now too.
So it looks like we will need to make a trip to the store to purchase spinach so we can have this for dinner soon!

The nice thing about this Creamy Gnocchi with Spinach and Peas is that it is a super simple recipe with only 10 ingredients (and a couple of optional toppings).
And it’s a really quick recipe too!
You can have this pasta dish on the table in 20 minutes.
Which means you can make this any day of the week and feel like you are dining on a restaurant dinner!

Creamy Gnocchi with Spinach and Peas
This Creamy Gnocchi with Spinach and Peas is a comforting creamy pasta dish filled with fresh ingredients you’ll love.

- Cook Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 20 minutes
- Yield: Serves 3-4 1x
Ingredients
- 1 Package Gnocchi, 16 ounces
- 2 Tablespoons Salted Butter
- 1 Large Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 3/4 Cup Whipping Cream
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Parmigiano Romano
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan
- 3/4 Cup Peas, fresh or defrosted
- 2 Cups Fresh spinach
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, optional topping
- Shredded Parmesan, optional topping
Instructions
- First, cook the gnocchi according to the packaging instructions.
- While the gnocchi is cooking, melt the butter in a pan at medium heat, then add the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then whisk in the 3/4 cup whipping cream, 1/2 cup shredded Parmigiano Romano and 1/2 cup parmesan. Whisk continuously
- Once the sauce begins to slowly simmer stir in the peas and fresh spinach.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes until the spinach has wilted and peas are cooked, then add the drained gnocchi.
- Top with fresh parsley and parmesan and enjoy!
