I have always been a huge fan of popcorn. As a kid I loved how easy it was to pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave, especially the kind that was drenched in butter. Over the last several years my taste buds have slightly matured and I have learned to enjoy fresh popped popcorn made on the stove or from a popcorn popper. But I must admit that my patience – and my willingness to clean up afterwards – did not mature with my taste buds. Paper Bag Popcorn is just as fast to pop as store bought popcorn bags, plus it is cheaper and you have the ability to easily try out lots of different seasoning combinations!
This is a mixture of yellow and red popping corn.
First, place ¼ cup of popcorn in a paper bag and fold down the top 3-4 times – depending on the size of your microwave is.
Next, place in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or until the popping begins to slow.
***Do everyone a favor and stay near the microwave while popping popcorn; nobody likes the smell of burnt popcorn.

Add seasonings and enjoy!
