I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is already next week! I feel like I just finished taking down all of my Christmas decorations, but here it is already February. While some people are enjoying lots of snow & days off of work & school, here in the south we just have lots of frozen cars in the morning. And instead of seeing piles of snow when I look outside I see what looks like a beautiful warm spring day, until I step outside & feel like a frozen popsicle. Our sad luck is that it is extra cold on sunny days & warmer on rainy days leaving us little hope of snow.
On the upside, I can easily run to the store to buy more strawberries to make Nutella Strawberry Quesadilla’s!
A Nutella Strawberry Quesadilla is the perfect little treat for a Valentine’s brunch – although it is so good you might not want to share! This little quesadilla is filled with flavors that will make any heart soar with love! And of course no valentine breakfast quesadilla is complete without the one special ingredient this romantic holiday is known for!
Ingredients:
Tortilla Wraps
Nutella
Sliced Strawberries
Chopped Dark Chocolate
Simply spread the Nutella on a tortilla wrap, then add a single layer of sliced strawberries, & sprinkle on pieces of chopped dark chocolate.
Add the top tortilla & grill your Nutella Strawberry Quesadilla on a fry pan or in a panini press until the Nutella & chocolate has melted & the tortilla is golden.
*Note: I like to flip my Nutella Strawberry Quesadilla before I put it into my panini press so that the Nutella & chocolate melt down onto the opposite tortilla.
Honestly, I don’t know how I have survived the last 20 something Valentine’s Days without this divine little treat! I do however know that this Nutella Strawberry Quesadilla will be a new special Valentine’s brunch tradition in our home!
