This is my first time decorating our new kitchen for fall, and I had the hardest time choosing a color scheme.
After running several different ideas past Roger, I finally decided on a moody fall color scheme.
I love our all white kitchen, especially because it makes any decor, especially fall and Christmas decor, really stand out.
Someday, we will get around to adding shelves on either side of the stove hood, which will give me more places to decorate, but I think that is still a year or two out.
I have too many projects lined up right now for Roger, and the kitchen shelves aren’t as high a priority as finishing the laundry room, clearing out the garage for a mudroom, or building a raised garden this winter for next spring.
Roger just finished building the library, and that’s the last project we hoped to accomplish before the fall and Christmas season.
He completed 7 & 1/2 big home projects in 7ish months, so I’m giving him a 4-month break before handing him next year’s list. 😉
In the meantime, we are going to do our best to soak up as much autumn as possible, even though we might not get peak fall colors until the end of October or early November.
I have a whole list of fall activities, and I can’t wait to start making new fall memories as a family of 4!
