How to create a game-day soda bar for football parties this season with time-saving tips you’ll love!

I have been dreaming of having game day football parties in our home with our 25+ family members for years!
And now that we are finally settled into our new home (yes, the garage is finally empty of moving boxes!) we can start celebrating football season with ALL of the football parties.
Because honestly, my favorite part about football season is the parties with all of the people, the food, and the drinks.
Although we’ve had a few parties in our new home over the last few months, football season is basically just one game day watch party after another.
So I decided to put together an easy little football party tutorial with the help of Sam’s Club and Coca-Cola®. (And just a little teaser, I learned an awesome time-saving trick that I’m sharing below in the first tip!)
You can easily put together this game day soda bar every time it’s your turn to host a game day in your home.
I plan on saving all of the fun football party decor items in an easy to reach place so that even if it’s a last-minute gathering, I’ll be ready to host a fun party for my friends and family.
So let’s get to these 5 easy tips for creating a game-day soda bar!

1. Order Your Favorite Drinks
The first thing I did was to place an order on the Sam’s Club website for all of the drinks I needed for our game day party.
I ordered a variety of drinks for our guests including Coca-Cola® Mini, Sprite®, and Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar.
This was my first time using the Club Pickup at Sam’s Club and I was really excited about trying this time-saving technique.
I found everything I needed on their website, added the items to my cart, chose a pickup time, and checked out.
The next day I picked up my items in a matter of minutes!
You already know that by shopping at Sam’s Club you are getting a great value on the beverages you need for your fall football entertaining.
And with Club Pickup, you can get your fall football entertaining shopping done even faster. Order the products online and Sam’s Club will have everything ready for you.
Seriously, it’s a game-changer you must try!
2. Find a Space & Decorate
Next, I decided on where I wanted to create my Game Day Soda Bar.
I couldn’t decide between our breakfast bar or a table, but I ultimately opted for the breakfast bar as it allowed me to hang this cute game day soda bar chalkboard sign on the wall.
You can find all kinds of free football printables online, but I opted to make some myself.
I tried to make sure that I decorated vertically and not just horizontally.
One way that I did this was with a tall drink stand that extended upwards towards the chalkboard sign.
I also added some height on the other side of the soda bar with the drink menu.

3. Make a Drink Menu
I love mixed drinks and I know our friends and family do too.
So having a fun little drink menu was not only a fun way to share with our guests some fun drink recipes but it was also an easy way to add one more piece of decor to the soda bar.
You can copy the one I made or come up with some of your own awesome Coca-Cola® flavor additions.
4. Gather & Prep Your Toppings
Once you have your drink recipe menu you will know exactly what toppings and drink additions you need for your soda bar.
For this soda bar, I included raspberry, cherry, and vanilla syrup along with fresh-cut lemons, slices of limes, fresh mint, cherries (with their stems, and raspberries).
I placed them all in their own individual bowls near the cups and chilled drinks so that people could mix and match their flavors.

5. Chill & Set Up Your Drinks
Finally, chill the drinks (I recommend chilling them for at least 2 hours to 1 day before your party) and set them up in the drink stand with a bunch of ice so that they will stay cool throughout the whole party.
When I ordered our drinks from Sam’s Club I also made sure to order a set of Member’s Mark Heavy Duty Party Cups to ensure that we would have enough for this game day.
Oh, and one more extra entertaining tip, be sure to place a permanent marker next to the cups so that people can write their names on them so that they don’t get their drink mixed up with other guests drinks.
I can’t wait for more game day fun with our 25+ family members this football season!
I hope this blog post helps you create an epic game day soda bar for your next football party and that you are able to save time with the convenience of Sam’s Club, Club Pickup.
