This year’s Kitchen Christmas Decor tour was completely unplanned.

I knew we would be moving into our new house at the end of November or the beginning of December and that decorating would look different this year.

But it’s been over a year since I’ve been able to do lots of decorating videos, and I’ve missed it so much!

And while we aren’t fully unpacked, I still wanted our home to feel Christmasy, especially for our son.

I tried my best to be realistic in my expectations of how much I could get done (while having just moved and being 7 months pregnant) and what would still be available in stores.

While I’m missing a lot of things (including nearly ~14 Christmas garlands), the only things I bought this year to add to our kitchen Christmas decor are the little tray next to the stove and the two syrup bottles on the hot chocolate bar (oh and of course, the ingredients in them are fresh from this year).

And with Christmas just 2ish weeks away I’m just so excited we got it decorated!

Friendly notes:

  1. I’m in my third trimester, so I’m extra grateful for Roger’s help with the garland above the windows and the wreath above the stove.
  2. For those who love red, I’m sorry I didn’t include it in our kitchen this year. I’m in the process of donating all of our fake red berry stems and decor. Baby number 2 is coming and I’m not taking chances next year. We love the look of all the hunter-greens and I’m just grateful I got to decorate our kitchen before Christmas.
  3. For those with an extra keen eye, yes, there is no soap in the soap dispensers. I bought these soap dispensers and then my husband bought foaming hand soap. The two don’t work well together, but Roger and I do and are now on the same page. 😂
  4. And since I get the question/comment every time I decorate our kitchen. No, this is not just a show kitchen. Yes, we use our kitchen a lot. And not only for cooking meals for our family, extended family, and friends but also for developing recipes for my blog. Although to be fair, this kitchen has only been used for about 2 weeks now, since we just moved in. ❤️
