These DIY Painted Heart Candles are so fun and easy to create and would be so fun to make at a girl’s night or Galentine’s Day party.

I originally planned on making the hearts pink and red, but the pink tea light candles I had looked more like white than pink on the taper candle, so I decided to stick with just red.

And I absolutely love how they turned out!

Such a fun and inexpensive DIY decor for Valentine’s Day.

Materials:

Red Tealight Candles

Paintbrushes

White Taper Candles

Tutorial:

1. First, light your red tealight candles and let them start to melt for a few minutes.

2. Then use a small paint brush to use the melted red candle wax to paint red hearts onto the white taper candles.

Tip: If the candle wax begins to harden on your paintbrush, hold it near (but not touching) the flame of the tealight candle to soften/melt the wax on the paintbrush.

3. Continue painting hearts around and down your white taper candle.

4. Enjoy your new DIY Painted Heart Candles!

With love, Giusti

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

  1. I made some of the heart candles for myself and loved them! Used a wax melter and was so easy to do. Thanks for the idea and tip! Happy V Day!
