Earlier this year I shared a tutorial for a napkin candle that you all loved so much it went viral!
And since it was such an easy DIY I thought it would be fun to try it again for Easter.
Only one problem, the napkins I chose this time were way thinner than the ones I used earlier this year.
So when I tried the blow dryer method with these napkins the napkin ripped.
I tried it 3-4 different times and different ways with the blow dryer and after 2 hours I finally gave up.
Finally, I decided to try a different method using an iron instead.
So I decided to get an iron, just for crafting, I figured I already have a blow dryer just for crafts, I might as well have an iron for crafts too.
And guess what, it worked!
Not only did it work, but it was so much easier and quicker than the blow dryer method.
And now I’m never going back!
And aren’t these DIY Bunny Napkin Candles absolutely adorable?
I used my flameless candle hack, so now I can use them year after for spring and Easter!

Materials (click to shop):
Candle (I use this flameless candle hack) – I used this short candle & this taller candle
Instructions:
1. First, cut the napkin to the size of the candle (height and circumference).
2. Remove the inner layer of the napkin.
3. Place the outer napkin with the print facing out around the candle.
4. Wrap a piece of wax paper around the candle.
5. Carefully/quickly iron the candle so that the heat melts the wax just enough to be absorbed into the napkin. (I’m sorry, I’m not sure what temperature it was set at. I bought it just for crafting, pulled it out of the box, and used it without looking. I just looked at it and it set between 3 & 4)
6. Continue this process around the entire candle. Then slowly remove the wax paper from the candle.
7. Use the iron to touch up any areas as needed.
8. Follow my flameless candle hack so you can use a flameless candle within your real candle.
9. Enjoy your new DIY Bunny Napkin Candles year after year with the flameless candle hack.
