These Frosted Christmas Brownies are one of the easiest Christmas dessert recipes, right behind the viral Cheesecake Santa Hats I shared last month.

I’m not the best at decorating cakes, cookies, or brownies, but this was so easy and it is so festive!

We typically host Christmas dinner for our family with 30+ people and have many family Christmas gatherings throughout the holiday season.

And while I love creating lots of homemade dishes for our Christmas parties, I always like to throw in some really easy ones that take little time but look and taste delicious.

And these Frosted Christmas Brownies are both!

Which ones are your favorite, the Christmas Tree Brownies or the Santa Clause Hat Brownies?

Instructions

  1. First, preheat the oven according to your brownie box instructions and spray a 9 inch spring form pan with spray oil.
  2. Mix both*(1) of your brownie mixes and pour them into the spring form pan.
  3. Bake according to the packaging instructions, or until a toothpick comes out clean. *(2)
  4. Once the brownie has baked and cooled, remove it from the spring form pan, place it on a cutting board, and cut the brownie into 8 triangles.
  5. In a small bowl, mix white frosting with red food coloring. And in a second small bowl, mix white frosting with green food coloring. *(3)
  6. Place the red frosting, green frosting, and white frosting in individual icing bags with your favorite frosting tips.
  7. Decorate your Christmas Tree Brownies with green frosting, white pearl sprinkles, and edible gold stars and your Santa Clause Hat Brownies with green and white frosting.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  1. You can do just one box/batch, I just wanted them to be extra thick brownies, so I used 2 boxes.
  2. I found it took longer to bake since it was a double batch of brownies, but if you only do 1 box/batch it should bake according to the packaging instructions.
  3. The amount will depend on how thick you want the frosting to be on the brownies and the shade of red and green you like best.
