1. I love the color pink.
2. And dark chocolate covered everything.
3. I am a Seventh-day Adventist.
4. I prefer dresses and skirts, but our house is always so cold, so I usually wear leggings underneath to stay warm.
5. I have worn more glitter than mascara in my 30-something years of life.
6. My favorite TV shows include Parks & Rec, Star Trek (the original series), and The Nanny.
   • Yes, I know I have a strange variety of favorite books, movies, & tv shows… I’m weirdly diverse in that way.
7. Sadly, I am allergic to most furry friends. 
8. I love coffee creamer (in coffee, hot chocolate, and baked goods), and I believe (almost) everything is better with a splash of lemon.
9. I am a horrible speller.
   • My #1 misspelled word is “Fahrenheit,” and yes, this word was autocorrected.
10.  I can’t stand automatic toilets.
11. I discovered that I am very claustrophobic while inside the Great Pyramid.
12. I love brunch and believe breakfast is better at dinner time.
13. My favorite movies are Star Trek (2009 & 2013), You’ve Got Mail, Sabrin (the new one with Harrison Ford), and Midnight in Paris.
14. I love snail mail and hate texting.
15. As a child, I was often grounded from reading.
    • My husband has hidden books from me to keep me from my reading binges.
    • Favorite books include Pride & Prejudice (Jane Austen), Ready Player One (Ernest Cline), The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald), & Redeeming Love (Francine Rivers).
16. I love buying presents for friends and family in sets of 3.
17. I could eat burritos and soft tacos almost every day.
18. I’m one of those vegetarians who doesn’t sweat the little stuff, aka enzymes found in Parmesan and also marshmallows.
19. A few times a year, I love to go through our house and donate anything we don’t use or that’s taking up space. I find it fun! (I donate to the Samaritan Center in Collegedale, TN.)
20. I’m an introvert who was raised to be an extrovert… But I’m still an introvert.
    • I have a bad habit of avoiding people or staying silent out of fear of saying or doing something wrong, which means I often give off the wrong impression. It’s something I’m working on getting better at through lots of prayer & practice!
21. I love to travel the world & Epcot.
22. We have been foster parents and are biological parents to two children, a boy and a girl.
23. I rarely sleep, either because I’m up late working or one of my two littles needs me.
24. I love barbecue, vegetarian of course.
25. I have never received a driving ticket, but someone once backed up into me in a parking lot.
